The lecture will be held in the Thomas & Mack Moot Court Facility at the UNLV Boyd School of Law.

The panel will discuss legal issues associated with the trends of Nevada-based gaming entities expanding into Asia and of foreign entities investing on and off the Strip. The discussion will include licensing, confidentiality and disclosure requirements, conflict of laws between domestic and foreign statutes and regulations, and unique legal issues arising as to sovereign funds (investments made by foreign governments). Panelists will also discuss client relation and professional responsibility issues, best practices, the pros and cons of investing in the Nevada and foreign gaming markets, and the effect of the local and national economy on future investments.
