Two Boyd Alumni Win First and Second Prize in the 2007 Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition

Congratulations to two Boyd Alumni, Dustin Howell and Tim White.

Dustin (BSL c/o '07) was awarded First Prize in the 2007 Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition for his essay entitled "Saving Orphans From Abuse and Neglect: An Evaluation and Proposal Regarding the Problems Associated With Orphan Works."

Tim (BSL c/o '07) was awarded Second Prize for his essay entitled "Protecting Originality in the Theatrical Art of Magic."

Both students were awarded with cash prizes and certificates from the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers.
